Microsoft Store now offers Windows 11 digital licenses
The latest operating system is a free upgrade from Windows 10, but many people have to purchase new licenses for their computers. If you want to build your PC or use a virtual machine, you must buy a Windows license.
It was already available to purchase Windows 11 licenses on USB drives, but now users can buy it as a digital license. Microsoft only added the digital licenses for its Store. While Windows 11 Home version costs $139, the Pro version costs $199.
The store offers two versions of Windows 11 designed entirely to users’ needs. The Pro version has BitLocker device encryption and Windows Information Protection compared to the Home version.
How to install Windows 11?
Microsoft keeps updating Windows 11 with new features and upgrades. You’ll have to connect your account to the OS if you want to install Windows 11 on your computer. This requirement came with Windows Insider Build 22616. According to the latest information, only Windows Enterprise users can install Windows 11 without an internet connection or a connected account.
